What is Custom Metal Bending?
Tamar stocks large spools of steel or aluminum, which our technicians bend and cut to customers’ desired size and shape. We offer flashing in aluminum (up to 2’x10’) and steel (up to 4’x10’) in a variety of colours. Tamar also bends custom eavestroughs – you can learn more about that in an upcoming blog!
What Can Tamar Make In-House?
In Tamar’s metal bending shop, our team of four technicians can fabricate any piece of metal flashing you need for your home or building. Even if you don’t know exactly what you need, our knowledgeable team can offer guidance. Matt Belanger (pictured above) has been with Tamar for 30 years – he has made countless bespoke pieces of metal flashing. Everything from siding trim to the metal frames around windows – Matt will help you put the finishing touch on your project.
Prefabricated Flashing vs. Custom Metal Bending
While you can pick up flashing at big box stores, they don’t keep uncommon shapes in stock and they don’t do custom bending. Tamar’s custom metal bending is perfect if you’re looking to replace an older piece of flashing on your home, or if you’re after a unique style.
